LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2026
This policy is provided as a clear description of our actual data practices and is not a substitute for independent legal advice.
1. Who We Are
Corner Barr, LLC ("Corner Barr," "we," "us," or "our") is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Oregon, with a principal address of 211 N Front St, Central Point, OR 97502. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit cornerbarr.com or place an order with us.
2. Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address when you place an order
- Any engraving text, gift messages, or custom instructions you submit with an order
- Your email and password if you create an account with us
- Ratings, written reviews, and any photos you choose to upload when reviewing a product
- Any information you send us directly by email, such as questions about a custom order
3. Payment Information
All payments are processed directly by PayPal. Corner Barr does not receive, transmit, or store your full card number, bank account details, or PayPal password at any point. If you choose to save a payment method for faster checkout in the future, PayPal — not Corner Barr — securely stores a reference token on our behalf. We only ever see a general description, such as "PayPal ending in your email," never the underlying financial details.
4. Information Collected Automatically
We use your browser's local storage — not third-party tracking cookies — to remember the contents of your shopping cart and the products you've recently viewed between visits to our site. This information stays on your own device and is used only to make your shopping experience more convenient. It is not used to track your activity across other websites, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process, produce, and ship your order, including any custom or personalized items
- Communicate with you about your order, including confirmations and shipping updates
- Maintain your account, order history, and wishlist if you have an account with us
- Display product reviews and any photos you've chosen to share publicly
- Show you relevant product recommendations based on items you've viewed, purchased, or saved
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.
6. Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the service providers necessary to run Corner Barr, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their function:
- PayPal — to process your payment
- Our database and hosting providers — to securely store your account, order, and review information, and to keep our website running
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) — we do not transmit your information to carriers electronically; rather, we provide you with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's own public tracking page, which you may choose to visit
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of Corner Barr's assets, in which case we would notify you of any such change.
7. Data Retention
We retain order records for as long as necessary to comply with applicable tax and accounting recordkeeping requirements. We retain account information for as long as your account remains active, or until you request that it be deleted.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can review or update your account information, order history, and wishlist at any time by logging into your account. You may request that we correct inaccurate information, or delete your account and associated personal information, by emailing us at the address below. We will honor such requests promptly, subject to information we are required to retain for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. Corner Barr's current size and volume of business fall below the thresholds that trigger obligations under comprehensive state privacy laws such as the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act; however, we honor reasonable requests regarding your personal information regardless.
9. Children's Privacy
Corner Barr is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including secure authentication and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective date."
